Go Vikings! Knit this pattern to produce a highly sought after handmade item that is great for football season knitting and weather!
Knowing how to add more yarn is enough to get you going changing colors. Comes with a complete color chart and detailed written instructions!
Yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash, Encore worsted or sport to worsted weight yarn.
MC: Purple (207), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
CC1: Gold (877), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
CC2: White (Encore 208), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
CC3: Lt Brown (1926), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
Accent: Black (Encore 217), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
Yarn note: You wont need the full balls of CC or Accent, but this is the size they come in. I also had a mixture of Cascade 220 and Encore, but you don't have to use both as black and white come in Cascade 220 as well.
Size: 23 hat - Large
Gauge: 5 sts/in = 20 sts over 4
Needles: US Size 6 or size needed to obtain gauge, 16 circular needles, US Size 6 double pointed needles, yarn needle for weaving in ends
