Colorado Flag Beanie Hat PATTERN
A must-have for any Colorado fan! This is a beginner—to intermediate-level project that will yield a highly sought-after handmade item. It's quick to knit, and knowing how to add more yarn is enough to get you going changing colors.

Suggested yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash or sport to worsted weight yarn.
MC: Dark Blue (814), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
CC: White (871), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
Accent1: Red (1949), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
Accent2: Yellow (821), 1 ball 100g / 220 yds
Note: The weight of the yarn and gauge will ultimately drive the size, but adding a fleece lining to the finished knit hat can bring the size down if it turns out too large. Pattern makes a large hat that fits 23” head, but given the ribbed brim also has some stretch.
Size: 23” hat - Large
Gauge: 5 sts/in = 20 sts over 4”
Needles: US Size 6 or size needed to obtain gauge, 16” circular needles
Yardage - 250 - 350 yards (229 - 320 m)
