The name "Astraknots" comes from combining 'Astrology' or the 'Astral' with 'Knots'. The word "knitting" is derived from the word 'knot'. "Astraknots" is also a fun homonym for astronauts. And we are all time and space travelers, aren't we?
Genevieve, creator, founder, and primary driver of Astraknots believes we can learn more about ourselves through learning about our place in the cosmos. She connects knitting with astrology in order to create an alchemical healing integration experience for her students.
