Created these for a friend at my hair shop, she wanted fingerless gloves that said "Hell Yeah!" along the knuckles. She is allergic to wool, so I used a soft cotton/linen blend yarn. She also has really small hands, so I made them extra small. The pattern can be easily made for larger hands just by having a larger gauge. Also, using wool instead of cotton will allow more stretch in the gloves so they can fit larger hands without having to adjust any of the numbers in the pattern.
You can also change the words that are overstitched by sketching out different block letters to duplicate stitch.
She wanted them in black, but I wanted to create a little extra interest in the pattern and it will show up even better in another color.
