How to fix a dropped stitch using a crochet hook

Fixing A Dropped Stitch
With a crochet hook:
  • To pick up a knit stitch, insert the hook from front to back through the exposed loop with the working ladder behind the loop. Hook the working ladder and pull through the loop to the front.
  • To pick up a purl stitch, insert the hook from back to front through the exposed loop with the working ladder in front of the loop. Hook the working ladder and pull through the loop to the back.
