Circular Knitting Needles

Circular Needles
Circular needles are like straight needles that have a small plastic wire connecting the ends so you can knit continuously without turning the work as in rows.
The dynamics of certain stitches changes when you switch from knitting in rows to knitting in the round, because you are always knitting on the right side (RS) of the work.

Round Knitting
Circular needles are often used to knit in the round, where the ends of the rows are joined on the cast on.
You can also use longer circular needles to knit things in rows that require many more stitches than fit comfortably on straight needles. For example: knitting a blanket.
